KINGA PIĘDEL TO PLAY IN EUROCUP WOMEN!

EuroCup? That’s a term that has come up almost since the very beginning of my acquaintance with Kinga.
When we first connected during her initial stint in the Italian basketball league, the road to realizing that dream was long; she was returning from an injury and had to work hard to build her reputation.
However, each subsequent season brought her closer to her goal. Her journey took her through Latvia, France, and back to Italy. Every European adventure helped shape her as a player. It wasn't an easy path, and every summer brought uncertainty regarding a new contract.
This time was no different; in fact, the wait for a new deal was longer than ever before.
In late July, she headed to Italy once again, though it wasn't initially a permanent arrangement.
Famila Basket Schio—a major name in women's basketball, a multiple-time Italian champion, and a EuroLeague regular—invited her to train with the team while waiting for their key players to return from the World Championship in Germany.
Kinga made a great impression, which led to an extension of her stay in Schio. Her strong performance didn't go unnoticed, and then it happened!
AEL Limassol, a participant in the EuroCup Women 2026/27, came forward with an offer for a longer contract.
Remember: hard work pays off! That’s how dreams come true!
See how Kinga performed in previous seasons.
